KBUZEM Distance Education Process Quality Improvement and Satisfaction Research

In the Fall Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, a survey regarding the Distance Education Process Quality Improvement and Satisfaction Research was organized for 5 thousand 72 students studying at the faculties, colleges and vocational schools of our University.

In the survey, the relationships between students' education level, grade level and problem situation according to place of residence were examined. Additionally, there were questions about distance education in categories such as infrastructure, problem and solution, platform preference, channel and follow-up.

In this context, students' evaluations about the transition to distance education are reported.

Our Education Policy


As an international university, we offer multilingual education and guidance in distance education.

To increase the efficiency of studies by ensuring coordination among all stakeholders with simultaneous and multi-dimensional activities, considering that the distance education process is holistic and dynamic.

To actively use distance education technologies in community service activities with the philosophy of continuous learning in cooperation with the public and real sectors.

To implement and develop effective distance education methods that are suitable for modern pedagogical methods and compatible with the university's program educational outcomes and objectives and the needs of the real sector.

To carry out planned improvement studies by ensuring continuity and analysis of the feedback received from internal and external stakeholders to whom services are provided.

To provide continuous feedback, to closely follow global technical, academic and scientific developments and to carry out participatory R&D studies with university members in order to increase the efficiency and quality of distance education.

In the distance education system, as in face-to-face education, to offer students and instructors options, the right to make choices and a qualified guidance service in the process of teaching courses and measurement and evaluation, while being aware of the special conditions required by each student and discipline.

To be able to bring the interactive nature of face-to-face education to distance education by enriching distance education technologies with student-centered content management systems.

To lead visionary studies that will increase the competence of the teaching staff in new distance education technologies and applications in line with the program outputs and targets of our university and contribute to the employment of students after graduation.

Implementing work sharing methods that will improve personnel competence with a holistic approach to all areas of service and ensure continuity of experience within the institution.

To work to ensure that common sense, tolerance, sacrifice and valuing people just because they are human are accepted as a behavioral model, with a management policy that uses modern governance methods and traditional motivational elements together, which provides opportunities for entrepreneurial ideas, with the awareness that every person is a separate value and that all work is done to serve people.
